    The best month to start planting tomatoes will depend on where you grow them as well as the weather. So make sure that the weather is warm enough and not below 50 F. Check the soil as the minimum temperature should be around 60 F. Usually if you grow it from seeds then you can start sowing around March to May. Then you can move to transplant them outside around May to June.
